Trick or Treat? =3

1. Create a graphic (200 x 200 max size) to represent your personal "candy". It should have your username on it, but otherwise can feature whatever you want. Make it something special since it's self-representative.
2. Make a post with the subject "trick or treat?". Put your "candy" somewhere in it, and be sure to repost these instructions.
3. Then, go around other people's LJs and reply to them with either "trick" or "treat". If you reply with "trick", they will give you an LJ dare that you have to perform before taking their candy. If you're too wimpy for that, simply say "treat" and take their candy.
4. List all your collected candies in your original "trick or treat?" post to show off your collection, being sure not to direct-link!

Tales of the Noob ~ Day 1-2

Hello all! Thus begins the sad tale of me, Blue, a long-time pokefan and game player...whom is also more of a noob than she realized.

Yesterday I decided to try my hand at breeding. Why? Because I need Eevee! Well, little did I know how much of a pain in the arse this was gonna turn out to be >.<

Day 1: Decision made! Imma gonna breed me some Eevees!
First hurtle - You're only given one, whom ended up male. I evolved him into a Jolteon for the heck of it, and named him Ky Kiske (you get a cookie if you know what game I'm referencing). I was determined to get more Eevee, and as luck would have it, that day they were in the rich dude's garden! After much rooting around, I finally found one...another male. I named him Uno. He will remain an Eevee, as he was found at level 18, thus missing a key level-up move in his evolved forms (the first elemental attack they can learn is at lvl 15).
Eureka moment!! I can just snag me a Ditto and all my troubles will be over!
...Wrong.
Ditto in Diamond are only found through use of the Pokeradar, on route 218, with a sad 22% appearance ratio. D= Insert sad panda Blue here!
But wait! I have Emerald, and what's this? They're COMMON in the Desert Underpass!
Now if only Blue knew where that actually was XD;; After much pathetic running about, a good friend by the name of Maria helped me locate this 'underpass'.

Thus begin the Ditto carnage! (plz note, the Emerald game is a used edition, with an unerased game on it, so I was just playing on the file the previous owner had, and I'm only using one pokemon for god knows what reason)

Ditto in this passage apparently like to pop up at lvl 38-42. And they're a BITCH.
Ditto took somewhere between 3-4 Ultra balls to catch, he refused to stay in his goddamn ball! Finally he's caught, and I name him Blank.
Of course, it wasn't that easy.
First Ditto: Ran out of pokeballs completely, little bastard
Second Ditto: Kicked my ass
Third Ditto: Fainted it
Fourth Ditto: Kicked my ass as well
Fifth Ditto: Fainted it
Sixth Ditto: FINALLY CAUGHT THE LITTLE BOOGER

Sooo I go to transfer him to Diamond. But what did Bluesy forget? YOU CAN ONLY TRANSFER 6 POKEMON WITHIN 24 HOURS
....
RAFKDADFLUN!!!
Wish I had remembered that BEFORE transferring those 6 pokemon earlier...
But I am determined! SO, I get onto Diamond and haul my butt back to Route 218, and FINALLY find a Ditto.
And prompty faint the little bastard.
And thus it starts again, but finally on about the third try, I catch a Ditto.
I name him Blank2.0 (cuz I'm cool like that!)
So I stick him and Uno in the daycare!
...They hate each other.
I try Ky Kiske!
...They hate each other too.

RAFKDADFLUN!!!!

DAY TWO

Much researching about breeding is done, which doesn't yield a whole lot of useful information oddly enough. But through much poking and prodding of my poor headfluff (and Maria's) I decide what I need are more DITTO! Ditto with various natures! Ditto that my Uno will NOT hate!
Thus I waste another 20 or so minutes of my life on route 218 before giving up and heading back to Emerald.
...Where it starts all over again.

I catch a grand total of 4 more Ditto, while also having fainted about 10 other Ditto (I hate you guys sooooo f'ing much), as well as battling epically with a seventh Ditto, using three Ultraballs to catch it (even though it had 5 freakin hp left!)...only to find it was a repeat-nature of one I had already caught.
INSERT WASTE OF TIME HERE

Thus we have the roster of wonderful bachel...eeh...genderless single Dittos to choose from!

Blank6.0 - Relaxed

...Wtf? Why are they all so lacking in the energy department?? >_< I gotta match them with Uno's Adament nature! Bah, whatever!

And so day 2 comes to a close, while I wait for the awkwardly timed 24 hour period of last night to be over with.
